Thu Dec 11, 2008 4:01 am Luxury cell phone maker Vertu has partnered with Japanese carrier NTT DoCoMo to offer Vertu Phones Club, a premium membership mobile service.
The MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) will start the second quarter of 2009. Details of Vertu Club will be announced in the future. Vertu will open its Ginza Flagship Store on February 19, its first store in Japan. At the store, pre-orders of handsets can be taken for delivery when Vertu Club is available. Additionally, customers can buy SIM lock-free 3G handsets. The Vertu Ginza Flagship Store will offer the whole Vertu collection.
